Biographie
Chatzikyriakou
Konstantinos was born
in Thessaloniki, Greece,
in 1959. He obtained
his first degree in
Mathematics from the
Aristotle University
of Thessaloniki (1981),
his M.Sc. (in Mathematical
Logic) from Bedford
College, University
of London (1983) and
his Ph.D in Mathematical
Logic from the Pennsylvania
State University (1989).
Under the name Hatzikiriakou
Kostas he has published
technical papers in
mathematical logic (in
the field of "Reverse
Mathematics") in
the Annals of Pure and
Applied Logic, Journal
of Symbolic Logic, Archive
for Mathematical Logic.
Among his translations
in Greek are: Minds,
Brains and Science by
John Searle; H2O and
the Waters of Forgetfulness
by Ivan Illich. He edited
the Greek translation
of the book What Computers
still can't do by Hubert
Dreyfus. He is currently
translating A History
of mathematics, an Introduction
by Victor J. Katz
